Moodboard of Burnt Out
My collection reflects a mental state of being Burnt Out. I would like to show a part of my
life where I felt hopeless, tired of everything in life and lost in the whole process of life,
like a butterfly caught in a spider web. A butterfly represents the vulnerability of oneself,
despite its great potential to roam, it easily succumbs to its prey or the fragility of its
wings. Being stuck on the web feels like being thrown into an empty, dark space, isolated
from the rest of the world and forced to see the wounds of myself, left helpless. The
moment of struggle is almost like the amber of the charcoal slowly burning away, ending
with a thin stream of the last smoke produced, as a sign of it being fully extinguished.
